The Client
Centre for Environment Education (CEE), is a national institute involved in developing programs and material to create awareness about the environment. Established in 1984, the Centre is supported by the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India and associated with Nehru Foundation for Development. CEE's primary objective is to improve public awareness and understanding of environmental issues with a view to promote the conservation and wide use of nature and natural resources. To this end, CEE not only creates expertise in the field of environmental education, but also develops innovative programs and educational materials, testing them for validity and effectiveness. These programs and materials are designed flexibly to permit suitable adaptation for use across the country and abroad.

The Confront
VBSOFT started its enduring journey with CEE by design and development of dynamic website CHETNA - Centre for Health Education, Training and Nutrition Awareness, followed by TA/DA Application & Shopping Cart for Edutech India - a division of CEE, Envirodebate - CEE's discussion forum, and the Communication for Health India Network - CHIN. An attempt to go hand-in-hand with one of the world's most eminent organization, which is apprehensive about ecological issues and preservation of natural resources, has been a healthy challenge in terms of accomplishing their expectations.

The Solution
CHETNA (Centre for Health Education, Training and Nutrition Awareness)
The "Capacity Building Solution" developed for the peer organization for Instant Information Availability, acts as the central hub of communication for the people of the organization and the other organizations and individuals associated with it. It coordinates the efforts of the people in organization. The enterprise solution was designed and developed in such a way that individuals handling specific function would maintain the similar section/information on website. Admin punch give a non-programmer based intervention system, so that updation of website happens as easily as possible.

TA/DA Application
The TA/DA application was specifically designed to bring in parity among all the 23 offices of CEE in India. The solution allows flexibility to prepare as well as approve travel plan and automates the travel procedure by offering a Singular Enterprise Application right from request, approval and disbursement. The application helps in eradicating the inherent delays in the system by maintaining human intervention. The fact that this application is on web architecture, the application could be extended to any no of offices & function at minimum cost and higher efficiency.

Edutech India
The Shopping Cart Module was designed for www.edutechindia.org a division of CEE which is involved in promoting the environment education activities through various books, publications etc. of CEE.
The inventory of various products is also maintained and available online, based on which, various orders can be managed and delivered. The rights of the management of data and other operations are provided to the Administrator. Security issues are also addressed in the system to ensure safe transactions.

Envirodebate - CEE's discussion forum
An comprehensive website designed for, CEE's discussion forum, Envirodebate, provides opportunity to people to participate in a dialogue on key themes in the Environment and Development interface. The objective of this forum is to generate innovative strategies for an ecologically sustainable future and integrate them into policy and practice.

The Communication for Health India Network - CHIN
CHIN is a dynamic website, the content of which can be managed by an administrator. Its main objective is to advocate for reduction of poverty and the right to health and developing interactive communication approaches to address them.
