for NCCBM (National Council for Cement and Building Materials).
VBSOFT India in close interface with NCCBM, has evolved
a unique audit system, which takes care of the Indian
Bureau of Standards and GSDMA (Gujarat State Disaster
Management Authority) guidelines and extends an enormous
support towards establishing the discrepancies or inadequacies
in the construction and remedial actions as well. A statewide
network was developed by VBSOFT India for NCCBM to conduct
the audit of the houses being reconstructed as per the
guidelines of GSDMA. The system keeps track of each and
every activity or phases of construction and the evaluation
of the process is done with an indigenously designed technology,
the system tracks activity of every individual house being
constructed.
The system, which is deployed at the district and village
levels, gets inputs from the civil engineers who conduct
the audit to assess the damage in the various buildings
with respect to discrepancy against Indian Standard Building
Code. The appropriate actions taken for the above discrepancy
are also monitored and a progress of compliance of the
said discrepancy is achieved. The data collected by the
Audit Engineers is entered into the system at various
data collection centers to generate composite District
/ Taluka / Village wise reports. The system enables a
person to monitor the reconstruction work being carried
out in each house right from his/her desk.
Intelligent Reports get generated Weekly, Fortnightly,
and Monthly, which becomes input to various, decision-making
and monitoring agencies for effective implementation of
construction process. |
